So there you have it – they’ve tried to contact me twice, so it must be legitimate, so I’ve given up cycling in preparation for spending this [Twelve Million British Pounds]. I will be contacting [contact(at)johnmilesoffice.co.uk] hencewith and claim my vast fortune.

I might also tell [John Miles] that when he is copying a templated email, the stuff in square brackets has to be removed and replaced with the relevant information. For instance [email here] would be where you put your email. Its also advised that you actually remove the square brackets too ;)

I am tempted to ring him…

Also, in a completely unrelated matter I’ve also recieved this:

H1N1 Flu

Ah well. For those of you that read regularly, you will know that I have been feeling unwell for the past week.

This Saturday it got much worse. Freezing cold but sweating like no tomorrow. Looked like I’d pissed the bed but it was just sweat. Last night was a little better, but a simliar reaction, and I have been getting that reaction most of today too.

I contacted the National Pandemic people to get them to assess my situation and now have a ticket for Tamiflu. Add to this that I’ve had to tell work and am now sat at home on sick leave and I’m a little gutted. Don’t get me wrong – everyone loves a day off, but this is under the wrong circumstances!

I was OK to cycle into work and back on Saturday, and this morning I was OK to cycle in (even if a little slower that usual0 but am now cast to one side :( In the environment that I work in, I can understand, but still a little gutted! I believe that cycling has helped me fight this off better than had I not been cycling (I’dve been bed ridded this time last year and unable to move), and having this has even alleviated my Costochondritus, so much so that I’ve not had to take any tablets for a week!

But now I am to rest – hard when your used to cycling 100+ miles a week, but it has to be done :(

Perhaps it will give you all a rest from my daily blog posts, but a fit and raring to go Joby next week… Who knows.

SITE NEWS: WE HAVE MOVED

OK folks. This has been a work in progress for a while, in preparation for bigger things.

The site has just moved over to here from www.commutingtowork, so now you should have updated your bookmarks and RSS feeds.

I will keep both sites running the same content for a week or two to give you time, but after that – its tough shit!

Any questions, then you know where I am.

SITE UPDATE: Various Bits & Bats

Got something interesting to say, then I’ve added a Contact Me page situated here.

Thanks to Rafe for suggesting the WP Plugin.

I’ve also added the ability to subscribe to comments, a la Blogger.

I’ve also added a plug in that shows the top commenters – just to show that GARY HAS NO LIFE!
