I think that is exactly how the car was invented.

Make cycyling safer. Surround yourself with a big chair, lots of aluminium & steel for protection. That will be a bit heavy, so add an engine. Then some more seats so you can share your safety capsule with others (but leave them empty most of the time).

Last week I joined a queue of cars waiting to pass a horse on a country road. Most dirvers seemed to think it was acceptable to drive beside me leaving me with naff-all room; but they all went nice and slowly passed the horse giving it loads of room.

Perhaps if cyclists started going nuts and kicking car doors in if drivers pass too close or sound their horns?

As for waterproofing, I know “‘cos I checked it” that the Muvi I’m having has a “skin” in the sports pack hasn’t your’s got one or is it not that waterproof?
