Pedalling down to the nursery with my daughter this morning, I got a text saying that no one was rostered in at work at 8am this morning apart from the manager texting me… Fooking hell… We’ve let people take holidays off when they are both on the early shift.
I dropped off the little un, unclipped the seat and pedalled as fast as my tiddly little feet would take me. A total of 9.02 miles in just short of 39 minutes, with 6 1/2 of them pedalling the first mile slowly with Lily on the back!
All for the sake of work. I must be mad!
